What is a serial number?

The serial number is a unique identifier belonging to a product. It is used to activate or update a program.

Where can the serial number be found?

If you buy a program on cd, you can find the serial number on a sticker outside the box or on a card inside. If you buy a downloadable version online, you immediately get the serial number by e-mail. In case you pay on delivery, you get the serial number together with the bill, or you find it on the bill.
If you buy a multi-user serial number, you will find this on the licence agreement sent to you.

How to activate a product?

A non-activated software runs in restricted mode. On startup you can do the activation in the appearing dialog box according to the instructions.
