The grammar and style checker recognizes spelling errors that word checkers can not find because they do not analyse the context. Such are e.g. comma and other punctuation mark mistakes or the spelling of compounds as two words.

The program does not necessarily mark errors, it also gives warnings. Most of the marks indicate actual errors, others only draw the attention to a possible mistake. In the later case the user should decide whether it is a real mistake. As a help the necessary grammatical rule can also be displayed.

A warning can be seen in case of foreign and obscene words or lexical items to be avoided in official texts.

Mistake groups can be switched on and off so that the program suits to your actual demands, e.g. the marking of foreign words may not be annoying in  specialized texts.
